Spiced Chai Tea
Spiced Chai tea is amazing. Both hot and cold and served with Milk or you can drink it as is. It’s still good either way.
Ingredients: cinnamon, ginger, black tea, green cardamom pods, allspice, cloves, black pepper.
*Give your bag of Chai a shake a few times. The powdered spices can settle at the bottom of the bag.
Hot Chai brewing method: Bring freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place 1 heaping teaspoon of tea for each cup into the teapot. Pour the boiling water into the teapot. Cover and let steep for 7 minutes. While the tea is brewing put 2 teaspoons of sugar/agave/honey in the cup and add milk of your choice(about 20%) of the cup’s volume. When the chai is ready – pour into your cup. Same can go for the iced chai except add ice after your poured it and mixed it with the sweetener and milk.
